The Class: Baby Sleep 101
0-6 Months | APRIL 5th, April 12th & April 19th | 11am-12pm
Welcome to The Class: Baby Sleep 101 where intentional, attachment-centred parenting is the foundation of everything you will learn. You’re tired, emotional and there’s just too much conflicting information about sleep, and a lot of pressure to “sleep train” or let your baby “cry it out”.
That’s where I come in with your solution.
I am going to break down the methods that work into realistic, age appropriate, achievable goals that will leave you feeling empowered and get you the sleep you desperately need - minus the stress. You will walk away with step-by-step strategies, tips and tools, so you can feel confident in your sleep journey moving forward.
My methods are hands-on, responsive and always attachment centred. No stress responses, controlled-crying or cry-it-out.
Normalizing the reality of how hard parenting can be is important and let’s be real, you could use some support, you don’t have to struggle and do it alone. Babies are ever changing and so is their sleep, education about sleep is key for setting you up for success.

The Class: TODDLER Sleep 101
APRIL 5th, April 12th & April 19th | 7:30-8:30pm
Welcome to the Toddler Sleep and Behaviour 101 Class, where intentional, attachment-centred parenting is the foundation of everything you will learn. It’s very common to feel frustrated and overwhelmed with toddlers around mealtimes, bedtime, bath time and transitions. You might be tired of hearing yourself say NO, or offering idle threats that lead to tantrums, or maybe you try to give choices but they don’t seem to work.
It’s normal, and I can help.
I have a background in Psychology and NeuroScience and will teach you step by step how to shift language to communicate effectively, using intuitive, child-led, choice-based strategies that work. Bedtime struggles will shift, overall communication will feel smooth and respectful and you will always have tools in your back pocket for those hairy moments that are bound to come up. I know you will feel empowered instead of overwhelmed, your child will too.

“When we first got in touch with Desiree my baby girl Sophie was one year old and we recently had learned we were expecting baby number two! We got in the habit of nursing to sleep when she was born. It was the only way I could get her to sleep.
After using Desiree’s methods we managed two successful naps and that night she slept 12 hours straight for the first time ever!! The next night she slept 14 hrs straight and a steady 12 hrs a night ever since!!
My husband and I were truly amazed at how well Sophie responded to the techniques Desiree gave us. I thought it would be an impossible challenge. What we loved was that it wasn't tough love techniques that break your heart, it was working off the cues of the baby and not ever feeling like you were going against your own intuition. We are extremely thankful for what this did for us especially with another munchkin on the way!
If I could give any advice to other families out there who aren't getting the sleep they need and think its impossible to change old habits...call Desiree!! Our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner! Sophie is a much happier baby and as a result so are mom and dad.
We love you Desiree!"

“We had 2 kids born just 19 months apart, and 2 months into that adventure we knew we needed some serious help with sleep! I met Desiree and I knew immediately that I liked her style of no CIO and attachment-based techniques. She listened to my concerns and asked me TONS of questions about my daughter and her personality. She really tailored her tips specifically to what worked for our family. We spoke to some other sleep consultants who all advised us that the only solution to getting our 20 month old daughter to sleep in her own crib was to put her in it and leave her there and not come back. We are grateful to have found Desiree and appreciate her techniques and ongoing support. Within 3 months our daughter went from sleeping exclusively in our bed to sleeping in a toddler bed in her own bedroom. She felt safe and supported through the process thanks to Desiree’s guidance.
Thank you, Rockababy!!”
